Each summer, 50/90 forges a collaborative community where musicians of all walks and skill levels write a slew of new music material in only three months. That's roughly one tune every other day. Participants are a mix of music professionals, students, homemakers, and folks who work day-jobs but rock nightclubs.

4th July to Oct 1st 2009 -  The challenge of 50 finished songs written and recorded in 90 days is now on! My aim is to spend no more than three hours on each track from initial inspiration to recorded completion, a habit started in April 2007 when I first began my Album-A-Month saga! I may write lyrics first, collaborate with others, write the music first, whatever comes from inspiration.

I hoped to have 4 album's worth of finished, recorded material - 48 songs -  completed by Oct 1st. Some of the songs were collaborations with other songwriters.

July 2009: News Update... I completed 50 songs in 90 days challenge in 13 days.

Oct 2009: News Update... I completed 99 songs during the 90 day challenge.

Feb 2010: I completed the FAWM challenge of 14 songs in 28 days, reaching 30 songs in 28 days.
